UZHAVAR SINDANAI KALANGIYAM

This institute believes in enabling farming communities to bring about significant changes in their lives by themselves. For this a Farmers Discussion Group comprising about 50 farmers of this region, with the name Uzhavar Sinthanai Kalanzhiyam is functioning from September, 2008. This forum meets bimonthly, during odd months on first Tuesday at 3.00 pm in the Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering & Technology campus, Pollachi – 642 003 and discuss their field problems. The invited resource person from TNAU/Department/central institutions will interact with the farmers and give their advice to solve their field problems. Later meeting proceedings will be published in the form of news letter.
